Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Twentynine Palms By Ihg, Twentynine Palms

My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had many outlets, which was convenient, but being next to the elevator made it quite noisy, disrupting my sleep at times. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful and ideal for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown due to the use of plastic and styrofoam in the breakfast setup.

My stay at the hotel was just perfect for the one night we were there. The room, though standard, was great as it overlooked the mountains at the rear of the hotel next to the elevator. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially after our harrowing experience being stuck on the interstate for 15 hours due to a snowstorm. The location was ideal for exploring Joshua Tree National Park, being conveniently close to both the north entrance and not too far from Mojave.

The location was ideal for our plans, being close to the north entrance of Joshua Tree NP and various dining options nearby. The dining experience was convenient, especially as we were looking for an early start at the national park. One downside was the view of a construction site from our room. The facilities were decent, but the claim of being environmentally friendly didn't seem to align with their use of disposable items. Overall, a good stay with a few minor hiccups.
